Stone Fruit is an independent London-based duo made up of Val and Lef, songwriters, producers, and long-time collaborators whose creative partnership is rooted in creating music that feels intimate, timeless, and contemporary, yet unmistakably their own.
Genre-fluid at its core, Stone Fruit’s sound fuses elements of soul, pop, R&B, jazz, and electronica. Warm vocals and lush arrangements support emotionally resonant storytelling, drawing on influences that span generations, from classic artists like Stevie Wonder and Fleetwood Mac to modern innovators such as John Mayer and Jacob Collier.
Since 2019, Stone Fruit has released four EPs, earning praise from fans and critics and have performed across London’s live scene, steadily growing their fanbase. Currently, the duo is writing and exploring new sonic directions as they work towards their next album, scheduled for release in 2027.

New EP!
‘Remember the times when bands used to record in the same room? In a world full of AI and heavily produced music, we wanted to do something different and we’re so excited to share a live-in-studio EP with you! We chose 6 songs from our catalogue and we recorded everything live to bring you right in the room with us. We performed 4 of them with the full band and also included 2 acoustic versions of our most uptempo songs, stripped down to their core. These songs cover so much ground: love in all its forms, trying to grow as a person, watching time pass, and finding reasons to stay positive when life gets tough. Playing them live meant capturing all the spontaneous moments, the communication between us, and the true feeling of being in the room together.'
